EmmienLightFan
This year I am adding a P10 panel matrix. 18 panels in a 6x3 configuration, for a total of 9216 RGB LEDs and 27648 channels. I will be using video on the matrix. Hopefully 25FPS on the matrix and 40FPS for the rest of the display. Most of the video will be simple graphics, but experimenting in After Effects has shown that it will be able to clearly display photographs and real life video. I thought about using scalers and control cards so I could connect it out of my VGA/HDMI/DVI port and run it from a video, but this is expensive. Do you think I will be OK sequencing this without any lag. I use the SE, PE and the visualiser. My PC has an AMD quad core 3.6GHZ CPU, NVidia 640 graphics card with 4GB of dedicated graphics RAM. 16GB RAM.
godman
How are you going to run the p10 Panels? You can certainly sequence the matrix but I'm pretty sure LOR cant run P10 panels, You need the BBB/Falcon Player/Octoscroller combo
jerrymac
At that kind of resolution, why not just put up a LCD monitor?
