primvip
What is the best stance to view the ccr tree from. My house is only about 15-20 feet off the road. I'm wandering is that too close to watch the tree from?
Marty Belisle
15' to 20' may be a little close? I have my tree about 40 feet from the road edge. I shot the attached video from across the road 60' and walked up to 40'. Other Marty's Christmas in Cold Lake 2015 YouTube videos posted were all shot from about 60'. Hope this helps to give some perspective on your question. https://youtu.be/YDqcMdDBHRE

Also, shen you attach your ribbond where do you start from the top or the bottom of each pole to make it come out looking right? thanks
Marty Belisle
Each ribbon is attached to a metal electrical conduit that attaches to a center pole (star). Ribbons start at the bottom.
