bhays
Ok, sounds like I just don't know the lingo. If you can record each movement individually, then I wouldn't have a problem doing that either.Just to clarify, by movement we mean a single dmx channel..So, if I wanted a fixture to pan 120 degrees while changing colors and gobo and also tilting 20 degrees I would:record the pan in one steprecord the tilt in a second steprecord the color change in a third step, etc.
Texan78
Well within LOR I think it would be different. This is assuming you can record movements within LOR. You should be able to set your color and gobo and record it with the movement. If though you want to change color or fade and it was a slow change and not instant you could probably record everything together since you can move everything in real time. I have not played with the LOR II or DMX intereface yet so I couldn't be for sure. Since you move it real time if LOR had a record button then it should be cake to program that way. Now when you start doing color changes and fades, gobo changes within movements, yea that is when a lot of steps will come into play.
