I haven't had any problems in 5 plus years including a couple weeks into this year(crystal clear for 400-500 feet) . I've been troubleshooting to figure what i've done lately that could have affected it; but I've had no luck thus far. Any ideas would be welcome--I'm missing something. Could humidity affect it? Thanks! You are getting feedback? Do you have a microphone connected or a radio going into your microphone or line in socket in your PC or transmitter? I don't know how you would get feedback.
