Big Sanch Mafia
i have plugged each controller individually into the usb485 and in Hardware utility, they show up. but when i have everything daisy chained it only shows 1-4. I have 1 gen1, 3 gen2 and 3 gen3 controllers. Cont #1 - gen 2Cont # 2-4 - gen 3cont #5 - gen 1Cont #6-7 - gen 2 any thoughts here why they show individually and but all 7 on the network? Thanks so much
Don
10:1 odds you are trying to run 500k network, and #5 doesn't do 500k. There is no firmware to make it do 500k either. Choices are to go down to 57.6 or 115 - or split to two networks. Make #5 on it's own network as non-500k speed.

Big Sanch Mafia
also how can i tell what speed im running it at right now? i just went into SE and opened network preferences under port - com3 and it says next to speed 5706k (recommended) i've never adjusted this before. so would you think its at 57.6k or 500k by default? I guess i can apply 57.6k to all my sequences and reload into my show. thoughts... or do i change speed in the hardware utility too? i appreciate the help Edited November 28, 2015 by Big Sanch Mafia

Big Sanch Mafia
new update..there really isnt one. i went into network configuration and its already on 57.6k. as soon as i plug the cat5 from controller 5 into the usb485 the light goes solid. i go into HU and it find controller 5. but when i plug the cat5 from controller 4 to 5, the red light starts flashing again and HU cant find it? thoughts? Big Sanch Mafia
in case anyone is reading..seems like im posting to myself..haha ok..finally the show is up and running. what i found out is that the output for #4 was not working. so i switched controller 7 to 4 and 4 to 7 and it all works. so the kicker is that my original #1 controller that is gen3 the input port stopped working and the #4 controller that was a Gen3, the output port stopped working. meanwhile the gen 1 and gen 2's work fine. any reason for this. all the prongs on the cat5 ports looked fine.
