Passive Displays?

Does anyone have any links to examples of "shows" that don't use any music?  I've done lots of searching and can't find any examples, but I know there must be people that do this.

 

I'm considering using LOR, not for sequencing to music, but just for a nice passive display.  Perhaps some twinkling or fading between a couple colors.

I'm working on something similar as well. I have not seen any videos of just animated displays. I would like to see some examples as well.
