Save image to be reused

I create one in a previous sequence.  Is there a way to save it so that I can paste it in my next sequence ?

Do the following:

 

Select some effects

Click on the copy button

Click on the Edit menu and select Load/Save Clipboard. 

Enter a file name at the bottom

Click on the "Save Clipboard to File" button

 

At any time in the future you can bring up the Load/Save Clipboard dialog box and select a file from the list and load it to the clipboard and then paste it into your sequence.
