aesl1982 Posted November 6, 2015 Share Posted November 6, 2015 I'm trying to test some display elements on my laptop. I usually use my desktop for sequencing and testing. But I'm using laptop outside and I plug a controller to it go to hardware utility and a error pops up says "the serial pot (comm 1) assigned to LOR has a promblem. You may need to select another port. Open of serial port 1 has failed. So I tried all three USB ports and same thing. dgrant Posted November 7, 2015 Share Posted November 7, 2015 Ok, next thing to do is to use the disk supplied by LOR and install the driver for the USB/RS485 adapter.
