thebaronn
Hello! This year our theme was Alice in Wonderland! We had a 5800 pixel matrix in the shape of a Red Queen chess piece, lighted Rooks, and an animatronic Smoking Caterpillar! Sorry that the matrix doesn't show up very well. It is actually 2 different shows, my camera person doesn't know what "RECORD THE WHOLE SHOW" means. I sequenced it in nutcracker/xlights. But there was sme severe lag at some points. The File was gigantic, but as my display gets bigger I may run int more issues. And thank you James! I ramn the show in LOR. I am not really a fan of the xlights interface, but, if LOR has issue with my stuff, then I will be forced to change.
EmmienLightFan
I looked at your instagram and realized you had real people... I thought that all that acting was projected or something Was the sound all pre recorded and the people just moving around?
thebaronn
The whole show is prerecorded. The only thing live is the acting. I have my actors wired up with walkie talkies with ear pieces and I direct them if there is an issue. My little alice wired up and ready to go! https://instagram.com/p/9hnqeJEJDo/

EmmienLightFan
The chess piece is 5800 5V 2811 bullet pixels. It is VERY heavy!Did you drill the holes and push them in individually?
thebaronn
Did you drill the holes and push them in individually?Worse!! I used a leather punch. Drilling required me to clean the holes afterward. The leather hole punch is very clean. But hurts the hands!!!
EmmienLightFan
Are you running that all from LOR? I may get some P10 panels for next year and if you can run 3000 pixels, I should be fine with 1000.

(If you can't tell, awesome!)But I can and it was killing me.For Xmas I was having lag issues with video.I just finished rendering them at 10fps instead of 20fps and it seems to be fine now.But I do not tax the program like I did in 2012 with whole songs of video.I only had 4k pixels in 2012, but show was huge and smoothhttp://forums.lightorama.com/index.php?/topic/26025-15gb-lor-sequence-new-years-skrillex-mix-at-the-happyholidayhome/?hl=skrillex
