mcha
Is there an easy way to add time to an mp3 using Audacity? I can figure out how to clip but not add time. I am looking to have an additional 8 seconds to a sound bite. I can extend the timing in the .lms file, but the sequence stops when the audio file finishes. Darryl Lambert
I believe in audacity that you you set your cursor in the song where you want to add & select add silence. I'm @ work on my phone so I won't be able to confirm until I get home.
George Simmons
The easiest way might be to simply re-record the announcement. You could also try creating a second or so of silence and then copy/paste it as necessary to the end of the "song".
mcha
Generate -> Silence. Put in the extended time, worked like a charm. Thanks.
