BarnettChristmasLights
Hi there! I have used an old 16 channel Animated Lighting controller with a home made display of psuedo 16ft mega tree, vertically zoned 8ft tree, 4 arches (4 zones of 3 color on each arch), mini trees, candy canes, various shrub lighting for the last 8 years. With all of the advances of RGB & CCR I'm getting the itch to spend some serious change on replacing the old system. What I'm looking for is some where to purchase a complete system ready to roll and pre-programmed sequences to start (controlllers, new lighting including Mega Tree(s), mini trees, arches, etc.) for a RGB display, As time allows I'd like to learn the software and design my own but I don't think I'll have enough time before this holiday season to get that far. If you have any recommendations for resources/companies or any other info, please share it with me. Thank you for you time, Herb
ItsMeBobO
Welcome Herb That's the kind of first post I like to see! Construction and programming for RGB mega trees are pretty complex. Lots of construction how-to's can be found here. It will take a serious time commitment to get a RGB mega up for this year. Do you have a $budget number in mind? EmmienLightFan
RGB has so many possibilities. For an almost ready to go display you could get a mega-tree and sequences, and other elements seperatly
seriouslylosingit
From experience.....if you have intentions of using rgb, buy the sequences that "you can modify"
