EmmienLightFan
I organise and save all my LOR files with Google Drive. I am going to use a second PC to run my show, I have decided. If I point the show player at shows saved on Google Drive, will the shows/sequences be updated without me having to reload anything? Can I just add or take something from a show, and it will instantly update?
Don
The sequences on the computer would update when the Google Drive Sync runs. Would they reload in the show? If memory serves, once a show is loaded you'd have to stop/start the shows to get changes to take effect. My advice though ... don't run the shows from the Google Drive directories. Copy them to a location outside of the directory and run them there. Some people have had odd issues before when running shows from Dropbox/GDrive, etc.
LarryDrumAZ
I use multiple sources for backups, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. Once I start the show, all internet access to the show computer is disabled so that nothing "funny" happens while the show is running. As spotty as our internet service is here, I can't imagine trying to run a show from a remote directory.
EmmienLightFan
The GDrive folder is local. It just updates occasionally or when I tell you to.
