jrock_at_rons
I was successful in building and setting up my LOR 10w RGB flood controller (CMD24) last night and gave it a test run. I've been sequencing with it for a few months now. One thing I noticed right away is that a lot of the colors seemed washed out (different shades of white). They didn't seem to be as 'saturated' as they looked in the sequence editor. I did use a lot of 'custom' colors when I sequenced. I guess my bigger question is this... are there color rules or guidelines you use when sequencing for the LOR RGB floods? Would I be best served by sticking to the list of colors presented to me in the color fade option? I"m going to create a sample sequence to sort of test my colors side by side with the 'out of the box' ones to see if I was seeing this correct (it could have just been that I was tired). Thanks. PhilMassey
Run the hardware utility. Light console, Just turn the individual colors on one at a time. Play with different levels to get a feel for color mixing.
