EmmienLightFan
I have been having problems with the "Pixel icicles" I just started building. The first four strands are done, so I connected them to see some patterns and how bright they were. They are really nice! Very bright in the dark and also quite clear. At first I tried simple washes and fades and some left to right scrolling which looked good. I tried fire, and noticed it looked really weird. Then I tried a top-bottom chase and everything was all wrong!!! The pixels are all random, and when, say, XLights thinks it is controlling the top layer, random pixels come on. It is set up like this: 1 string of 99 33 strands per string Start channel is 1 (For testing) Controller placing is top left corner (First pixel) And the whole thing is set up as a vertical matrix. Here are some videos and photos of the lights/software: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B0Y0jDTbAow1SVF2X3BvU2VwSzg&usp=sharing
Dennis Laff
Looks to me the way you have it displayed in x-lights it should be a horizontal matrix.
EmmienLightFan
Well, each string goes downwards, so it should be vertical, right?
EmmienLightFan
I see. I am rewiring it differently.
