5mm or M6 for 3ft dia Wreath... what looks better?

I was originally thinking of using M6, but as I'm thinking about it, i think 5mm have a more full look. I would be using 1 LED string of red, green, blue and possibly white.

Whats everyone's thought or experience using either in this application

Thanks for the feedback

I have a 3ft wreath in diameter. I was originally thinking of using M6, but as I'm thinking about it, i think 5mm might have a more full look. I would be using 1 LED string of red, green, blue and possibly white.

With a wreath it might not be as much of an issue, but I personally avoid the 5mm lights due to their directionality compared to M5/M6.

My opinion is the 5mm type are VERY bright as they do not iluminate hardly any bulb. The M5/M6 bulbs tend to disperce the light a bit more and by doing so cuts down on the brighness of the LED light. I have 2 tomato cage trees each with 2 strings of Red, White, Blue and Green that have 70 5mm bulbs on them and when all 4 colors/8 strings of lights are on they are VERY bright! Since you would be using one string of each color it may not be so bright but I'd agree with George and go with the M5 or M6.

Later,

Al
