Rope lights for faces

Where do you guys get the rope lights for singing faces?  Is there an advantage to using rope lights over traditional lights/led?  Also, I'm having a hard time finding affordable white led 100 ct strings. Any suggestions?

The only 20" cut LED ropelight I can find.

Rope looks better to me than standard lights. When I priced out standard vs rope standard actually cost more when using quality bulbs from companies like cdi or similar.

I found the 2,4 and 6 ft under cabinet ropes lights at Home Depot which have worked great for my singing pumpkins. I was able to get all the mouth positions done without any cutting. They are Incan but worked great and we got lots of compliments on the props

I used pearl white versus clear tubed white.  It was 120v 3/8" rope light from 1000bulbs. I believe cut length was 20". If using rope light, make sure it can dim/fade.
