As far as I know a trigger cannot turn it off. That portion is in the scheduler that the mini director doesn't have.

Are you using an external power supply? Go to the manual listed above read the section on page 10 and use an external power supply that you will be able to interrupt using your timer. make sure you read it through page 12 the are some precautions for setting the power jumper.

Steve, I have the DC-MP3 director card, not the mini one. The scheduler takes care of those problems for you.

The timmer trigger that you use to turn it on, is it momentary or a latch?

If it is a latch that will then go off then you could tell the show to run once then at the end the trigger will still be triggered and it will then continue. Once the trigger is removed it will play through stop.

If the trigger is momentary then you would need to build a big show that will run through.

Or you can put a timmer on a power supply into the unit and turn it on off.

Side note... It would have been a good thing to have a loop x times on the trigger option.

Got it working

Took the trigger off

Used a 9 volt DC power supply

Was worried about removing the jumper

No problem you just pull off the jumper no tools needed

Hooked it up to the trimer working 6 to 10pm

Thanks everybody

I'm having same problem. I want to use a timer power strip. Do I remove the jumper and which pins are connected to the 9 volt DC power supply?
