99% incandescent display here... and my December electric bill is...

$216.07 for 2036kwh.

And that's with ~75,000 incandescent lights running LOR sequences 3-1/2 hours a night for 4 nights and 5 hours a night the other 3 nights.  Note, we are also in a state that is known for high electric rates(I think we are in the Top 5?).

Last year we used ~2300kwh because I left the inflatables on 24/7 for weeks.

An extra $100-$120 to power up our display for a whole month isn't too bad at all imho. :)

I guess we're getting hosed in Alberta then, my power bill was from dec 5-25 and I paid $368 I believe. Roughly 30000 lights, 100% LED

I haven't received ours yet. It would be interesting to see what the different rates were thought different regions.

Seems like it's very high up there. Mines somewhere in the range of 30-35 thousand lights. Not much into counting each bulb lol. Around 50% led, 50% incandecent. Mine was $48 more to run from Black Friday to christmas, and one missed night with weather. Also only run 3 hours mon-Thursday.

How many kilowatt hours(kWh) does the $368 pay for? Just curious what you rate is.

That's not too bad. And I hear you about counting individual lights... I probably have to pay attention a bit more than LED folks so I have a decent estimate, but I don't know the "real" number.

We get charged for the power we use as well as a distrubution fee every bill....................

Not sure how you wouldn't have an inkling on how many lights you have when you have to buy them, install them, plan your electric layout, and finally store them for the season. ;)

Maybe it's because I run incandescent lights so I really have to plan my electric distribution? I would think you LED guys would at least realize how many strands you buy and use?
