G3-MP3 Question.

In the Light-O-Rama Controllers Tab under the "Stand Alone Directors: G3-Mp3" They view this image:

It shows that the G3-MP3 componet has the ability to work on two different systems. However, the instrucions below are very vauge. 

My question:

 

Is it possibly to not have a controller in order to make the system work?

Can I just plug in the rgb lights, audio component, and 12vcd power supply and it will run the sequence?

Or do I have to buy the controller?

You need controllers for things to work. When you purchase a CCR from LOR (or me) you get the CCR, power supply and controller. Same for the Cosmic Color Bulbs/Pixel, you get the controller as well. Note that for CCB/CCP the power supply is integrated into the controller.

 

Think of it this way, the Director is much like the orchestra director instructing the instrument players (the controllers) on what to do, and when.
