jasonlaurea
Well this is my second year doing an animated display with Light-o-Rama and I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. It's a little blinky/flashy in parts but overall I'm pleased. k6ccc
I like those candy canes too. Are those the Holiday Coro candy canes?
jasonlaurea
Thanks for the feed-back. I shot the videos before I was completely done with the sequencing because my wife wanted to show her classroom the house this year. That being said, I did put the canes, arches and shooting stars in more once the final product was done. The canes are based off of the Holiday Coro Canes, but I made them myself. I watched the assembly video and used the basic ideas to put them together. The canes have 10 square RGB modules in them and the arches are HDPE tubing with a 25 RGB light strip in each arch. The video definitely does not do the color justice as these suckers are bright and a ton of fun!! The snowflakes are just coroplast with white incans pushed through, then framed and set up on the roof. They were super easy to make and really give a lot to the display.
