caniac
for next season I am thinking of doing firesticks again ONLY this time I am toying with the idea of using either dumb or smart strips. Thoughts?
plasmadrive
wrapped fire sticks look the best. If you are going to to them use dumb pixels and just divide them up like you would normal strings.. otherwise your programming could be a nightmare.. Dennis Laff
I have a couple fire poles with 50 count dumb rgb's 9 sets on each pole. My advice is buy the lights first the wrap around a couple different dia pipe to get the proper spacing on the nodes I used 17/8 dia tubing with lights from Seasonal Entertainment . kiplorenzo
I need to see what one of these looks like...When I See firestick, I see a torch, or one of those DMX Flame ball shooters. Kip
caniac
I need to see what one of these looks like...When I See firestick, I see a torch, or one of those DMX Flame ball shooters. Kipthink of an arch only straight up, most arch sequences work on them with little or no modification. my original ones were because i messed up my arch by using sleeves that were too small. I looked at Kevin's Halloween video and looked at the wife and said, lets get some rigid conduit. my arch that wasn't became my dual 7ft fire sticks!!! Mr. P
I use to outline my house with rope lights but this year I went RGB for the outline, so this year I used my mass amount of rope lights and wrapped two ten foot fire sticks which stand on the right and left sides of my 35' mega tree. Liberty-Laser
As mentioned, FireSticks are no different than arches, so try researching arches. I've used my arches as FireSticks for the past 2 seasons. Some programming changes, but not many.
