2 questions mini director

Ok I have 2 questions for the mini director I'm going to do the external power so question 1 does the mini director have a max number of controllers it can run? Question 2 with external power does the cat 5 still have to be less then 50'?

There is no maximum number of controllers, however, the amount of data you are pushing can max out the network (lots of CCRs for example). I power mine and use a 100' cat 5.

 I ran 17 regular Lor controllers on mine when I last used it. Now I use the new G# MP3 player because I use ccrs & ccps. My cat5 cable is only 15ft long because I had it & now my new one inside the front door on a stand.
