jrock_at_rons
One month out, I've had my sequences done for some time now. The other day I was reading another thread on constant bit rate (not sure how I missed this earlier). Do I need to use this for my sequences? Converting them isn't tough, I've got Audacity. I'm just worried that converting the file at all will throw off the timings for the sequence. If that's not an issue, I'll do it for sure. Thanks. LOR Staff
If you are using a version of S3 before 3.10 then you really need to convert them. They may or may not work. 3.10 and above do some internal conversions and should be mostly immune from Variable Bit Rates (unless you explicitly turned them off). jrock_at_rons
Thanks Mike. I decided to just try it and see. The conversion to constant bit rate didn't seem to affect anything (sequencing-wise) so I'm good now (I also adjusted the volume levels across all the songs too). Thanks. james campbell
For me, it's just too easy to convert all my songs to wav. That way I'm sure there is no issue
