LOR-Halloween Smoke Machine

I have a department store Halloween Smoke Machine. It plugs into the wall to heat the element inside and a hand switch to turn on the smoke solution to emit smoke. I am curious if anyone has used their LOR to turn it on and off? And how they wired it up?
