Anyone ever made flapping bats?

I ran into a guy at the American Christmas Decorators Conference last weekend who makes reasonably priced wireframes.  He had an animated bat made of 1/4" steel rod - powder coated.  You might want to contact him.   http://www.winkelbottoms.com/viewcategory.php?groupid=11    

 

With a wire frame, some rope light and an LOR controller, you'd have a nice two channel prop.

Well, got it done.  Used 2 zones -

 

 

Just controlling it with 2 power strips.  Still have to take it apart to use as template for another one so I will be able to take care of those missing lights.
