Noob adding CCP's to 32 Channel set-up

I managed to snag some CCP's in the Mad Grab sale and need to know if i need to upgrade my software license from standard to advanced. I looked in the store but am still unsure enough to ask.

CCPs-->Nope. Run from a USB-RS485. Suggest the Red High Speed one though, if you have several sets. A single set can run daisy-chained with your other 32 channels with no problem.

The Standard License will allow you to control up to 8 controllers. If you have 32 channels and 6, 100 count CCP's (in other words, 6 CCP controllers) then you don't need to upgrade your license to control everything.

 

If you picked up more than 6 CCP controllers, then you would need to upgrade in order to control them all.

Thanks guys, I just bought a single set to play with and hold Ron responsible for this purchase due to the post in the Leaping Arches thread!!

I already bought 2 x 10' lengths of pex tube.....CCP's get delivered tomorrow!!
