how do i turn up the volume in the mini director with mp3 player

the music is playing,,,and sequenced it with latest version of the suite. the volume is so low I have to be standing on the speaker to hear it..

is there any way to improve  the volume of the music so can be hear from 40 feet. the music the sequenceing isn't worth much if  the music  can't be heard

The mini-director, nor the Show Director, have volume control. You would need to use a program to raise the volume of the sequence. Look for MP3 Gain. Does a pretty good job.

Are you using powered speakers?  If not, that is the problem.  A passive speaker (non-powered) won't work well at all, since there is no amplifier to amplify the sound.

If you like your speakers another option is to buy a cheap amplifier, I use a little.lepai amp, works well, you can find them on eBay or Amazon (lepai ta2020)
