I ran my first test today (I know late!) and everything was fine.  I went back tonight and pressed play on the sequence again to see how it looked in the dark and the sequence editor froze and stopped responding so I rebooted the PC.  Then I opened the sequence again in the sequence editor and pressed play.  The editor appeared to play just fine but no lights turned on!  I closed the editor and opened the hardware utility and got the error "The serial port (Comm4) assigned to LOR has a problem. You may need to select another port. Open of serial Port 4 has failed. ERROR (8002) Invalid port number While: Executing Port Open Property."

 

Now if I unplug and plug it back in I see a windows USB error unrecognized hardware error.  Seems like when the sequence editor locked up and I had to reboot like something got screwed up!  Any ideas?

Since your getting the usb error Try installing the drivers for the adapter http://www1.lightorama.com/downloads/CDM20814_Setup.exe sometimes that clears up issues with the adapter.
