Scotter
So last year I used my computer and I was able to over ride the noise created by my el cheapo china man charlie made transmitter by simply turning up my line in volume. This year I am using the MP-3 show controller and since it has no way to turn up the volume I can hear static/hum between songs and also during a few of my sequences when I have full lights on for a quick burst, it sounds like that old AM radio "crack' you would hear when lightning struck and scrambled the air waves. Anyone got any ideas? Should I just buy a quality transmitter,,,if so what brand?
Bigbaby
I had a transmitter located close to one of my controllers once for testing and it did that. Moved it away from it and it cleared up. Always good to have a decent transmitter too.
Liberty-Laser
Be sure your audio cable and electrical and Cat5 cables are not crossing. In fact your controllers & transmitter should be on different breakers for best performance.
