dito
just stumbled across this and was wondering if anyone has ever used it. looks simple enough, but not sure where it'd use it, maybe a mega tree?http://www.ledmagician.com/
Jim Hans
I don't know why I would want it.... all the lights in my display are synchronized I wouldn't want random lights turning on and off.... A person looking to step up from a static display may find this cool but I don't think any of us who decide down to the tenth of a second what every single light in our disoplay is doing would be interested. George Simmons
I can't imagine a more useless item, unless we're talking about one of those 6-channel flashing Mr. Microphone jobs...A tenth of a second? You're kidding I hope... Leaving up to 9/100ths of a second of slop on either side of a lighting event? Wow - there's no way I could sit out front and watch something like that for more than a few seconds. Just saying...
Orville
I was just curious as to what it would cost, mainly for other uses other than my light display. Thinking more along the lines of use on my O gauge train layout. Cost is $45.00, can be bought here: http://3egadgets.com/led-magician/165-led-magician-v20.html For anyone that would be interested in it.
dito
was thinking more in the line of not using up LOR channels for something that would need a chase or other set sequence every time it got turned on. I was actually looking for a chase LED for my pinball machine. making a custom backbox so the LOR wouldnt fit, nor would i want to use LOR in my pinball machines.http://pinside.com/pinball/community/pinsiders?s=1&q=dito&ad=0&sb=user_name&so=asc i was looking to make something like this myself, instead of $179.http://www.flipperfidelity.com/products.php?cat=Animated%20LED%20Backbox%20Light%20Replacement%20Panels&itemId=
scubado
I wish I had known about this a week ago. I was looking for something like this for a project, but may get one for another project or two. Something like this would be great for a simple burst.
