Santas Helper Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I see folks saying/typing various ways of the four colors all year long. For Veteran's day, can we say/type Red, White, Blue & Green when we mention the four colors?Even LEDs can be mentioned R,W,B & G. if anything... just for the day.It would be cool to see it year round but at least on Veteran's day is all I ask. Thank you for those that support and those that serve the military. And a special thanks to the families of veterans of past and current. My display has all four colors. Red, White, Blue & Green. And my 33' mega tree has an American flag on top too
missieod Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 My display is Red, White and Blue this year. I'd love to see a picture of the tree with the flag. I got the flag from holiday coro and sequenced the Star-Spangled Banner by Madison Rising to surprise the hubby. Lights go on 2 weeks after he gets home from deployment. Adding green next year but had to start with what I thought were the best colors first .
Santas Helper Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 Glad to here he is coming home soon. I bet he will be proud of what you've done. It's not much of a sizeable flag but still wears the colors. The mega tree in the bottom pic wasn't connect at the bottom when pic was taken. It is now though.Glad to "hear" he is coming home. I hate the edit button being gone.

I always knew that the families left behind had it the hardest. I definitely didn't need to live it just to be sure . But we made it and I've got one happy little girl who can't wait to see her daddy.
Santas Helper Posted November 12, 2013 Author Posted November 12, 2013 You and that little girl of yours deserve way more credit. Being a family member of a deployed service member is a big sacrifice that many others just don't realize.Me being a retired military knows this very well. "God Bless the Families of those serving and have served" just as much on this blessed day and every day!!!Thank you Veterans, for your service. And THANK YOU LORi for your thoughts and support.
