Controller versions?

I bought my three controllers at an estate auction for $200 along with a couple of huge boxes with about 150 strings of lights and other stuff, so how can I tell what version the controllers are and if they need a firmware update?

You can hook the controller up to the HWU and see what firmware it is running.

Generally speaking, if the controller works don't worry about the firmware version.
