chandalen Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 I have the license for SS, and I am trying to use 8 'dumb' rgb strips on a christmas tree. (baby steps) In SS I can only seem to sequence CCR, which doesnt help me. Can I only use the Editor for RGB? Or is there some setting I'm missing in SS to set it to RGB 'dumb' strips? Thanks
BrianBruderer Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 SuperStar can run in "CCR mode" or "Visualization Mode." To do lights other than CCRs, you must first create a visualization of those lights in the Visualizer, save the visualization and then import the visualization into SuperStar. There are two video tutorial on this, go to the lightorama main page, click on "Support," then click on "Video Tutorials." The superstar tutorials are at the bottom. Look for: Creating a Visualizer Visualization for SuperStar Importing a Visualizer Visualization into SuperStar The tutorial does not mention RGB "dumb" strips but it covers creation of regular light strings. When creating an RGB "dumb" strip in the visualizer, create it like a regular light string, but choose "RGB" in the Fixture Dialog box when it pops up.
