MCas4380 Posted November 7, 2013 Share Posted November 7, 2013 A lot of cities will put a "shroud" around the light to point it downward...especially if you complain of "light pollution" coming into your windows...I spoke with the city works deportment and explained the light was keeping my kids up at night and they added the shroud. the man i spoke to told me it was common for them to have that issue. It can temporarily blind pilots it is hits the cockpit. JerryANd it is against the law... Pilots report it and then you have feds pounding down your door.
