bobschm Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I felt I had to start this thread to get something off my chest. I've been ridiculed for admitting this to the point that I began to pretend and ridicule others like me! For this I am sorry. I now feel I must come clean and admit to all...I LOVE FRUITCAKE! I even like those little green things that are apparently made of an element not of this Earth. I even like that dark dense stuff that will break your toe if dropped on anything but a steel tied boot. I feel better now.
plasmadrive Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 OMG! You mean you actually put that stuff in your body? And you live? WOW! How many broken teeth?
ItsMeBobO Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 How can you break the chain of Fruitcake re-gifting? I always pass the fruitcake to another person the next year. So there are actually very few fruitcakes but they are always in motion.
bobschm Posted October 28, 2013 Author Posted October 28, 2013 Now see. Those are exactly the kind of negative comments I've had to deal with every Christmas. Where's the support!?
plasmadrive Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 We will "support" your corpse in the upright position when those things come back to haunt you! Stomach pump anyone!
Santas Helper Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I often wonder... is the term "you are what you eat" really is true?
bobschm Posted October 28, 2013 Author Posted October 28, 2013 Hey it's not like I eat it ALL THE TIME!! It's ONCE A YEAR!! Fine. I'm sorry I brought it up.
bob_moody Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Are you kidding .. I LOVE FRUITCAKE !!! Its great to break off a piece and slip it into a slingshot and plink the critters that invade my display ...Its also good for weighing down display elements prone to flying in the wind. Its a sure fire way to get rid of that annoying neighbor (see re-gifting)Hit them with a blacklight on halloween and those little green things give off an errie glow...In a pinch you can mount them on your wheelbarrow when the tire goes flat ..Mini fruitcakes make GREAT hockey pucks .. Yes friends and neighbors .. you GOTTA LOVE FRUITCAKES !!! Bob

Santas Helper Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Lovly glorius Fruitcake. I like it too. My Mom makes great fruitcake every Christmas. It is good to eat. I guess it matters as to how much Rum you put in it. Must be alot.

LORisAwesome Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 OMG! You mean you actually put that stuff in your body? And you live? WOW! How many broken teeth? Maybe some bacon would help it? lol Jerry
ItsMeBobO Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 COSMIC COLLISION ALERT You fruit cake eaters are putting us in mortal danger! The world has many fruit cakes in continuous orbit about us but never touching. They pass in secret innocence from person to person in a never ending cycle. If one does land it could upset the equilibrium of the planet. Just dont do it!
scubado Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Lovly glorius Fruitcake. I like it too. My Mom makes great fruitcake every Christmas. It is good to eat. At least you know it's point of origin!
LORi P Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 (edited) I often wonder... is the term "you are what you eat" really is true? I think it IS true. http://youtu.be/wneCa_yIuzg?t=30s Edited October 29, 2013 by LORi P
Ken Benedict Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I think that the more Run you put into it, the less re-gifting there would be. And think of the creative lighting sequences you could create afterwards.
TGabriel Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Just throw the cake away and drink the rum. Why waste good rum on a year (or years) old dry cake.
DownTown Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I always hated fruitcake until I tried it. It's great, and now I never turn down an offer of a peice of it. Fruitcake=awesome D.T.
plasmadrive Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 You mean you can actually cut it into pieces? Wow, laser cutters have come a long way in the last several year!
