Bcspy Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I want to wrap multi sting for arches project. Do you use a drill to spin the PVC? I do most of the work myself and don't have a second hand. Any tip.

bschilz Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I found a solution online that I tried and it made it very manageable. My arch is 1/2"OD PVC pipe, but I also bought several lengths of 3/4"ID PVC and cut them into 15" segments. I wrapped two 100 light strings on each segment and then slipped them over the 1/2" PVC. Worked terrifically!
MikeA Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I used my wife's kitchen aid mixer. I made a little jig to attach to the front port. Worked great but I was looking over my shoulder the whole time waiting on her to find out.
