My Windows 8 is not playing my Windows 7 Halloween songs

I had Windows 7 last year and had 3 songs on it. My laptop crashed and I bought a new one with Windows 8 on it. I transferred my LOR files over from my old laptop to my new laptop. I created 3 new songs on the new laptop. I added the 3 new songs to the old show editor so now I have 6 songs. I schedule the file to play and run my show but only the new songs are playing none of the old songs that I created last year are playing even though every thing is saved in the show editor and scheduled. Has anyone had this problem?

Open the sequence editor, and open one of the old sequences. Hit play. Do you get any errors? 

 

Sounds like the media file isn't correctly associated with the sequence file. You can fix that with "Edit -> Media File"

And also check the directory to be sure you put the old sequences in the proper location (for LOR to find it)

How did you  get the driver for windows 8 to work as the only one you can download is for 7 and it will not work on 8 as I still can not get the USB 4858 to work com port 3

my windows 8 machine was plug and play....but had to transfer all the media files as well-opened SE-then reassigned the media file to the new location....

 

no problems here using it.
