captainron19 Posted September 23, 2013 Share Posted September 23, 2013 So this year I want to switch my Mega Tree over to all LEDs Right now Tree is only red/green 16 channels with 3 strands of 100ct incandescent minis per channel of each color. I am using (2) 10' sections of black pipe for my pole. Anyone have a recommendation on the best sort of LEDs to go with (size, length, where to get etc)? jerrymac Posted September 23, 2013 Share Posted September 23, 2013 Suggestion is to skip LED and go directly to RGB (even dumb (basic) RGB ). A little different but actually cheaper than mega string LED's. A bit of learning curve (packs available from Holiday Coro for both smart and dumb RGB). Probably to late for this years display if you haven't started yet but still possible.LED is dead long live RGB (of course they are addressable color led).
