Heart display

I need to add a small (18 inches or so) lighted heart to my display this year. I would like to light it with yellow LED's. I want to add it for my brother whom I recently lost. I tried bending up some 1/4" round stock and wrapped it with lights but it did not look good lit up. I was thinking of the "Tune in to ..." yard signs and light it up with a heart design but I thought I would check with the forum to see what other people have done.

Can you get your hands on some yellow rope lights? Then attach it to your 1/4" stock. Get some heat shrink to cover any excess rope light.

How about bending 1/2" PVC conduit into the shape and tyrap yellow rope lights to it. Bend the PVC with a heat gun.

How about PEX?  Cut to length, bend, and put the light string INSIDE the tube.
