Power Supply for Ray WU 10W DMX floods

you just need 12 vdc at 60 watts to run them all.  Actually, you might need more like 75 watts so you have some head room..  Look around at Meanwell supplies.  There are a lot of others as well.  Try surplus stores.   You can use anything larger than 75 watts.. but that would be the min to run them all, (with a bit of headroom).

I just ordered 6 of the DMX 10W floods from Ray Wu.  Can anyone recommend a cheap power supply?  Here's a link to the light I'm talking about....

This is also from Ray and many of us have good success with it.

The problem with getting power supplies from China is the cost of shipping.  The exception to that is the potted IP65 power supplies.  They cost a lot to ship but I am not sure there are others for any where near that cost around the US.  A lot of guys put power supplies in the plastic boxes with no ventilation and that wouldn't fly in the real world.. but we are not in the real world and we only flash our lights for very small duty cycles.. so they get away with it.. Anyway, look around in the US for supplies... they are here and most likely less expensive then the Chineese ones unless you are already shipping stuff here..
