jimswinder Posted August 15, 2013 Share Posted August 15, 2013 (edited) Why is it when you go to insert a device, such as a DMX Universe and you change the name (IE Mini Tree) all the channels still come as DMX1.1, DMX 1.2, DMX 1.3 and so on? Don Posted August 15, 2013 Share Posted August 15, 2013 Still running 3.9, and I noticed the same thing. When adding a DMX device, it does that. If you add a LOR CCD device, the name will propagate to the channels. Sounds like a bug. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SWood Posted August 16, 2013 Share Posted August 16, 2013 I'm pretty sure there is a work around for this. I added a bunch of dmx channels at the beginning of the year. What I did was left it at dmx 1.1 etc. and then right clicked the first channel, clicked convert to rgb channel and named it there (mini tree) then checked the box, also do this for the following channels and it renamed all the channels mini tree 1 mini tree 2 etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
