Don
8 CCR License is 150 channels per CCR * 8 = 1200 Since the CCP's are two strings, you have 300 channels per CCP, which would equal 1800 channels.
BrianBruderer
The confusion arises because one CCR controller controls one ribbon of 50 pixels which is 150 channels. But a CCP controller controls two strings of 50 lights for a total of 100 pixels which is 300 channels. So the 8 CCR license will export 8 CCRs or 8 strings of CCPs, but 8 strings of CCPs is 4 CCP controllers.

BrianBruderer
There is a topic on the forums which discusses power consumption of ccrs and the power supply http://forums.lightorama.com/index.php?/topic/7194-ccr-power-consumption/
