Location for you LOR controller

This is my first year doing animation and I have a 16 channel controller. I am wondering where I should put my controller once everything is done. My computer in downstairs in my living room and it is probably 20 feet away from our back door and about 50 to 60 feet away from my front door. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated.

Put your controller outside, and run a Cat 5 or other cable from your computer to the controller. Center the controller around the display to minimize use of extension cords, or put it in a secure, out of site location and run cords from your lights to the controller.

But seriously, I am in the same group as Dale. Stick the controller out in the display that way you only have to run one long cat 5 wire and not16 long extension cords.

Last year I put one in the garage and one behind the fense. I bought another controller this year, so I'll probably give in and put it in the middle of the display. The cost of wire has gone waaaayyyy up to put it 20 feet away.
