bobschm
Does anyone know of a wireless power switch LOR can run? I need (ok, I don't really need) ...I want to turn off the lamp in the front hall while the show is on. No dimming, just on and off. X10 could do that, but I thought the LOR X10 hardware was discontinued. ELL will move the data wirelessly. What I want to control is the power in line with the lamp. What are my alternatives? TitusCarnathan
Lor still supports X10 commands via the CM11A x10 moduleAnother option is to use a wireless RelayOr you could use one of thesehttp://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/41/wec.shtml Edited March 16, 2013 by TitusCarnathan
Ken Benedict
CM11A module: http://www.x10-store.com/2coinmocm.html I recently bought a wireless power switch at Fry's Electronics that worked well and could probably be easily modified to put a relay across the button that controls the remote relay. Dad02
Any reason why you couldn't use a $5 lamp timer?
bobschm
Cheap timers forget the time of day when power fails. Been there. My computer and the LOR know where to pick up. Problem may solve itself. Switching to Xfinity Home. Getting two lamp modules which are programmable from the security panel.
