terrypowerz Posted March 17, 2013 Author Share Posted March 17, 2013 I received a couple of messages that suggested I might post this info so that everyone is aware.The American Christmas Decorators Conference IS replacing ICE, LUO, and C3...The concept to form one larger event to make things easier, as well asmore valuable for everyone is one that has been in the works for awhile.We will have ALL of the things that made each of the seperate events asuccess, so no matter if your interest is Blow Molds, DIY, LOR, pixels,or something in between, this is your event!The central Indiana location was selected for ease of access, affordableamenities, and a large list of things to see and do for families whilevisiting.The agenda is being finalized, but things will kick off on Thursday atNoon with the opening presentation and hands-on workshops in theafternoon, an informal dinner and meet and greet that evening. Fridayand Saturday morning at 9 we have a full day schedule includingcontinental breakfast and lunch (provided) and it will run through until5-5:30, at which point everyone will be free to do thier own thing.Some of the die-hards that want to continue conversations into theevening will be welcome to hang out until we have to chase everyone offlater that night to get some sleep. jpohio Posted March 26, 2013 Share Posted March 26, 2013 Just a reminder...For those of you that weren't aware, LUO, ICE & C3 have been combined into American Christmas Decorators Conference - ACDC for short. So there isn't going to be a LUO event this year. For all the Columbus folks, I think Indy is a about 3 hour drive (correct me if I am wrong). Not to far to travel, for what is shaping up to be a great event! So let's see if we can get a big Ohio group @ ACDC!Please let us know when an Agenda is available. Very interested. Judging will be on Friday evening at dusk (8:30-9:00) during ACDC after hours at The Barn at Village Farms main parking lot. For safety reasons, your masterpiece does not have to be driven while decorated. The only rule is that any lighting must be battery operated or powered from the vehicle... no extension cords from the building or light pole. Let's see those creative decorating ideas in action!
