Best Talking Head

Hi guys,

This year I was thinking about adding a single talking head for Christmas. Ive seen several. The problem (or challenge) is that my house sits back maybe 200 feet from the road. I was wanting something big enough to be able to see it. Couple of questions:

1. I assume there are a fair amount of sequences done for X channel faces....any idea what channel number is the most likely to have sequences I can borrow?

2. I'd like a good one...so cost is less an issue over quality. I'd like it sturdy enough. I can't tell from some of the pics on sites about this.

3. Do you guys who have them use them sparingly for songs? Or do you just use them for say 2-3 songs in your spread?

Thanks in advance!

Herb

Your assumption is correct, tons of sequences out there. Most singing faces use 8 channels but the more channels used, the better the animation

2. I'd like a good one...so cost is less an issue over quality. I'd like it sturdy enough. I can't tell from some of the pics on sites about this

I use mine for all songs in my display even if there is no singing. When instrumentals are playing the faces just smile and flash like any other prop.
