benmilner
Hi all,I've got a basic lor display but I think next year I'd like to try rgb pixel lights that can be independently controlled. I've looked at the incredible colour motion tree at http://www.magicchristmasnews.org/magic_christmas_news_002.htm but that would seem to cost 1000's to make. I've got a bit tree at the front of my house. I'd like to try and use these types of sting rgb pixel bulbs to run up and down the branches. My questions are:1)Where can I get these type of pixel bulbs from? I don't think led tape will work because i can't guarantee the direction things will be pointing when on the tree. 2) can I use the lor software to control these and program them easily as I can't guarantee each strand will be running perfectly vertically. It will follow the direction of the trees branches. For example pixel 4 on one strand might be the same level as pixel 10 on another. 3) how much will this cost. Lets assume I need about 20m of lights. Thanks,Ben
