setting unit id

I set the first box to unit id 01 with the second controller box disconnected, how do i get the second box to work and how do i connect it.

You would connect them together via CAT5 cable. Take a look at the Typical Setups for more info.

Don is correct. I would suggest connecting the second unit up alone and setting the id before connecting both together. You can set ids while they are connected together, but it's easy to screw up if you aren't very careful.

also when you daisy chain them box 2 can be your first inline. so once you have the unit id's set they can go in any order you need them to go
