dgrant
A few nights ago, I saw that one of my megatree strings wasn't working. Panic thinking the controller had an issue as these were all "new" strings, 32 of them. Turns out, it was not the controller rather the two little fuses at the string itself. Both had popped out of their holders even though the access door to them was closed.
zooo
I bought about 100 boxes of LED micro lights at Home Depot a couple of years ago. In 2 months of use (Dec. 11 and Dec. 12) at least 30 sets have failed. They do not typically fail while in the display, but failed after the were dried out for the season. When I located the problematic bulb(s) in each string, I found that the very thin wire leads were pretty much dissolved. A 50,000 hour bulb doesn't do much good with a 300 hour wire lead. Sealed LED's must be the way to go???
