Windows 8

I just upgraded my show computer. It came with Windows 8. I had to get used to where everything went to and how to find it. I have loaded LOR onto the machine and have been doing my sequencing. So far I haven't noticed any problems. But, I haven't ran a show yet either. I got a notice for a free upgrade to Windows 8.1, but I haven't downloaded it. I'm afraid it might cause problems with LOR. I will be using this new computer for sequencing and play my shows only, nothing else. So, at this time, I can only say that I haven't had any problems. YET!!! I can say, that when I have the visualizer playing a sequence, I don't get the starting and stopping in the visualizer like I did on my Windows 7 laptop.

The machine I have been running shows on is 8.  I have sequenced on 8.1, but I haven't run shows on that machine.  I need to upgrade to 8.1 on the show machine and expect no issues, but I'm running animations for V-day this week and I just haven't ben able to get to that

Let us know how the show goes and if you ran it with 8.1.
